The name ''House of Mani'',  which I have chosen to showcase my work under,  has huge significance for me.
Mani means ''jewel or gem'' in Sanskrit and ''hands'' in Italian,  reflecting the fact that my work is all hand made, using jewels or gems combined with silver or other metals.
Mani is also a region in the Peloponnese in southern Greece,  where we have a house.  This is an area of outstanding natural beauty and has been called ''the real Greece''.  It is a treasure trove of Byzantine  churches, Frankish castles, beautiful beaches and stunning scenery.  Just being there feeds my soul and inspires me to create!                                   See more on www.kaiamani.com
